Top 12 Travel Essentials

Packing for any vacation can be stressful, but with these top traveling must-have items, packing and enjoying your time on vacation will be a breeze.

Top Travel Essentials:

Hand Sanitizer and Wet Wipes

Germs and messes are everywhere. Packing hand sanitizer and wet wipes will allow you to clean up any mess and germs you may encounter while traveling. These are a must, most days, but especially on vacation.

Chargers and Portable Power Bank

We all rely on electronics, especially when we travel. Be sure to pack any cables and plugs you need for your electronic devices. Having a bag to keep your chargers in will allow you to keep them organized and easy to access wherever you may be. Don't forget your portable charging power bank, as well. These can be a lifesaver when your running low and can't get to an outlet.

Headphones

Going along with the reliance on electronics, definitely bring your headphones. Don't be the person on the plane or in the coffee shop with audio that everyone can hear. Headphones are a vacation necessity. Packing these in an easy to reach place makes them available at any time you may need them.

Packing Cubes

Organizing your bags can be easier than you think. Packing cubes are a must-have item when packing for vacation. Packing cubes allow you to organize your clothes by day, type of clothing, person and more. These are especially handy when traveling with family. Everyone has their own bag with all their items neatly organized and separated.

Travel Jewelry Box

Traveling with jewelry can be a mess, but it doesn't have to be. Get a travel jewelry box to keep your necessary jewelry items together and you'll never worry about losing your favorite items or have them tangled en route.

Passport and I.D.

Don't forget your identification on your vacation. No matter where you are going, your ID is important and international travel requires a passport. Also, don't forget to check your expiration dates, you don't want to find out your I.D. or passport is expired and then not have enough time to renew them.

Jacket or Sweatshirt

Don't get caught in the cooler nights or air conditioning, without a jacket or sweatshirt to toss on in a pinch. We love traveling with a jean jacket as it can be dressed up or down and is small enough to carry along while traveling.

Books

Whether you read on a kindle or love the feel of a book in your hand. Be sure to pack some books for your trip. Books provide a way to spend any down time relaxing. They are great on the plane, in a coffee shop or on a beach.

Water Bottle

While traveling we are disrupting our normal routines, which can lead to dehydration. Luckily, packing light doesn't mean you cannot pack a water bottle. Collapsible water bottles are a perfect way to ensure you stay hydrated throughout your vacation while not taking up too much space in your suitcase.

First Aid Kit (and any prescriptions and medicines you may need)

You never know when you may need a band-aid or medicine while traveling. Keeping a simple, small first aid kit will keep your health in tack while out of town. Don't forget any prescriptions and medicines you take on a normal basis, as well. Organizing these in a kit and pill box will help keep you on track and will save you time while you are there.

Towel Clips

Terry Tethers Towel Clips are extremely useful while traveling and because they are small and portable they will not take up much space in your bags. Through the airport, clip your hat on your carry-on bag to ensure it's secure while you walk to your flight. In the car, Terry Tethers hook purses, trash bags and more on the seat. If you are traveling to the beach, hitting up the hotel pool, or riding on a boat, Terry Tethers secure your towel to the boat seats and beach or pool chair in a snap. No matter where you are going, Terry Tethers are a great accessory to keep with you.

Selfie Stick

Our arms may be long enough to snap a quick selfie, but when you are on vacation, selfie sticks are the way to ensure you get the rest of the scene in the photo, as well. Because most selfie sticks break down very small they are ideal and easy to have with you anywhere you travel.

No matter where you are heading next. Or how you are getting there. Using and packing these essentials is a great way to ensure you are less stressed while preparing to leave as well as while you are there.
